Definitely Showing Now

Wow i keep forgetting to update this thing. Soo lots has been going on. We're starting the baby off nice & young & it has now been to see Bon Jovi & super close might I add! I'm definitely showing now. Don said when we were at the mall a couple weeks ago people were looking at my belly. We've decided to register at Buy Buy Baby but are still anxiously awaiting Thursday afternoon to find out what Baby S!! We're dying to know if we're Team Pink or Team Blue!! If you'd like to take a vote in the poll please do! www.pollpub.com/is-baby-s-a-boy-or-a-girl.aspx Also I've been feeling something going on in my belly for a couple weeks now. The past week or so it has been a bit stronger. I know its the baby just not sure what exactly the baby is doing. Don thinks its very light kicks. I'm sure they'll get stronger soon enough!

15 weeks - 10/13/09

Hello 2nd Trimester

I've made it into the 2nd Trimester. Just 6 more months to go! Nothing much to report on. Had another Doctors appointment today just for a monthly checkup. Heard the heartbeat again! =) We're getting very anxious and are dying to know if it's a boy or girl!! I'm calling to make that appointment tomorrow so I'll at least have a date to look forward to!

Belly is really growing now. Up 12 pounds. eek!

Baby S is really a Baby!!

So Friday we went for our NT Scan which was basically just another Ultrasound. We were very excited to see Baby S. The last ultrasound was at 6 weeks and the baby looked like a chicken nugget according to Don. Well this time was a big change! I was 13 weeks 3 days for this appointment. This time Baby S looked like a baby!! It was crazy to see such a change. Baby was jumping around in there as if it were a moon bounce! Looked like fun actually! lol I think we're in trouble. We must have a stubborn one in there. I had read that most NT Scans only take 20 minutes or so & well we were in there for about an hour and a half! The tech needed the baby to turn to get a specific picture for the scan & it was just not happening. I had to get up and walk around the building a few times, drink apple juice, get on all fours & cough, and finally just spin around on the table in both directions. This baby did not want to turn around!! The tech did finally get what she needed otherwise we would have had to go in again which Don was excited about! lol He was soo amazed looking at the screen! It was really cute. I had also read that it was possible we might get a hint from the tech as to the sex of Baby S. But our Tech said it would be unprofessional of her to tell us so early. So no clues yet! Although Don swears he sees a boy part in these pics...

getting bigger

I just keep getting bigger. Its crazyness! I feel like a whale & its pretty uncomfortable. I finally gave in and bought 2 pairs of maternity jeans this weekend. The whole sweat pants thing is working but I can't really go out in sweat pants. Therefore I gave in.

We can't wait for Friday! We have another sonogram/ultrasound appointment (still not sure what the difference is) for the NT scan. I can't wait to see the baby again & get new pics and have it actually look like a baby this time! It's going to be a big difference from the 6 week pics.

3 Months!!

12 weeks already! Its really flying by. I hope it keeps up till April! lol Don did my finger prick today for the First Trimester Screening. I cried like a baby as usual but it HURT!! I have the sonogram for it next Friday! Really looking forward to seeing the baby again & getting new pics!

September 22 - 12 week belly pics

Back to Reality, sorta

Back from vacation! We celebrated Don's birthday on the Carnival Liberty & it was great. The ship was like a clone of the Glory that we loved back in April 07. Same design/layout and all with some added upgrades like a huge LCD screen over the pool on the lido deck! Cozumel was the same as the last time we visited. Don & I spent the day together while the rest of the boys went 4 wheeling. We walked around the shops & then went to Paradise beach where they had fun stuff for Don to do in the ocean like a trampoline and a glacier to climb. Afterwards we met up with the guys and went to Fat Tuesdays. The next stop was Grand Cayman and we had never been there before. It was absolutely gorgeous! Clearest water i have ever seen & i think i like it better than the Bahamas! I'd love to go and stay there sometime. I was not thrilled with Jamaica. Of all the islands i've been to I've never been hassled so much in my life. Don & I only spent maybe an hour off the ship shopping & then headed back since we didn't have any excursions booked. I felt like it was the longest vacation of my life! Normally it goes by soo quickly i'm wondering where the time went but this time had we docked a day early i wouldn't have minded. I think it may have had something to do with being sober! lol All in all it was fun & nice to be away & get some sun. =)

I took the belly pics in our stateroom on Tuesday September 14. I was exactly 11 weeks since they moved up my due date!

I came back to find out my job has been soo slow lately that they don't need me to work right now. So I just applied for unemployment. Hopefully all goes well & i'll be happy to sit home & collect. =)

I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow!
