3 months later...

Oops so it's been 3 months since I updated. Not for any particular reason either. Anyways on to the updates...

The belly has grown a ton in the past 3 months & FIL took some great maternity photos for us. All of which are in this album.

And so onto the big news I guess. So I'm 39 weeks tomorrow & 1 week from my due date. After talking with the docs we have a scheduled Csection for April 9th at 8am unless this little girl decides to come on out before then which i would love. At least i know the end is near & she will be here soon. Still crossing my fingers she makes her appearance before Easter. We shall see...

3rd Trimester

I am a terrible blogger. It's been weeks since I've posted. Sorry about that but with the holidays & the move I was a little busy. Onto the update:

I'm now 27 weeks 2 days & just entered the 3rd Trimester. The beginning of the end I guess. I'm still growing & growing & feel HUGE. Getting more uncomfortable by the day. My back hurts, I have trouble sleeping, I'm peeing constantly, not to mention some other gross symptoms. I hear it's only going to get worse!

This little girl finally has a name. Adrianna Jessica! Don made a toast with everyone the first night we were in Florida & felt that I had been doing so well in dealing with the pregnancy and all that he thought I deserved to have my choice as the name. He loves it as well & he chose the middle name. Her nickname can be A.J. if she'd like when she's old enough. But I'm not promoting for everyone to call her baby A.J. Adrianna is soo pretty & I don't want to take away from it. Karen got us the cutest little bib from Barcelona that has her name embroidered on it. It's absolutely adorable!

Karen ordered our nursery furniture on New Year's Day. Babies R Us was having a crazy sale where if you bought the changer/dresser combo unit you got the crib free. & on top of that Karen somehow got like half off of the price. So we're just waiting on it to come in. We're skipping the armoir but are planning to get a glider. Here's a pic:

We also went and had a 3d Ultrasound done on Dec. 22nd. It was soo awesome to see our little girl again. We got a bunch of pics & a dvd of the whole thing. The dvd is a bit long so Don cut it down to about 4 minutes & put it up on YouTube.

This leaves no doubt in my mind that she was made at the Jersey Shore! Fist Pumping already!

She's a very stubborn little girl already. Always moving around at home but the second we're anywhere else with anyone else nothing at all! It's like she doesn't want anyone else to feel her at all. Daddy gets to feel her a lot lately & Aunt Tiffy finally felt her the other night but besides that not a move for anyone else.

Long Overdue Update

First off IT'S A GIRL!!

We found out at the big U/S on November 5th! We are both very excited!! I just knew it was a Girl, guess I was right! LOL As much as Don wanted a boy, I know he's just as happy to have Daddy's little Girl. Here's a few pics of the U/S & of how we told our families...

U/S 18weeks 2days 11/5/09

All of our registering is done. We did the majority of it at Buy Buy Baby but did but some items on a registry at Babies R Us only because BBBs are few & far between. Not everything is as Pink as i expected & wanted. The big items we chose to go neutral so that we can keep them for our next child & if it's a boy it just made sense. So a lot of the smaller items & bedding especially is super super girly!! If anyone wants to take a look & has any advice on anything we should add or remove I'm definitely open to hearing opinions. We're still looking at furniture so hopefully after the holidays that will be all settled. Here's a pic of the bedding we chose:


Speaking of the nursery we have also found an apartment! 2 bedrooms of course so this little one has a room of her own! We actually just got the keys today & began moving some things over. We're trying to get as much done as possible before leaving for Florida on Friday. We are planning to fully move in on December 3rd which is the day we get back. Eek! Oh yea & Thanksgiving is tomorrow in the meantime! LOL How this is all gonna happen I have no idea! But i'm sure it will! I'm just really looking forward to sunny Florida for a few days. Last vacation before the baby.

The big name war has begun. We knew if it was a girl it would. Don wants Brianna & I want Adrianna. They're both very similar & neither of us dislike the others name but at the same time neither of us are willing to give up our choice. We're at a serious stand still that has no end in sight. We're even considering other names but again we're not finding anything worth giving up what each of us wants. So who knows when this will end! We have not even begun to discuss middle names yet.

There has been major major movement going on in my belly. I feel kicks & her moving around all the time now. Even Don has felt a couple kicks here and there!!

So i just wanted to update before i fell even more behind. Between tonight & by around 11:30 tomorrow morning I have to make gravy & macaroni for the first course of Thanksgiving tomorrow at my Moms & I'm making a chocolate pudding pie, I have to pack for Florida & attempt to pack up everything else in this apartment. Eek! Wish me Luck!!

Definitely Showing Now

Wow i keep forgetting to update this thing. Soo lots has been going on. We're starting the baby off nice & young & it has now been to see Bon Jovi & super close might I add! I'm definitely showing now. Don said when we were at the mall a couple weeks ago people were looking at my belly. We've decided to register at Buy Buy Baby but are still anxiously awaiting Thursday afternoon to find out what Baby S!! We're dying to know if we're Team Pink or Team Blue!! If you'd like to take a vote in the poll please do! www.pollpub.com/is-baby-s-a-boy-or-a-girl.aspx Also I've been feeling something going on in my belly for a couple weeks now. The past week or so it has been a bit stronger. I know its the baby just not sure what exactly the baby is doing. Don thinks its very light kicks. I'm sure they'll get stronger soon enough!

Hello 2nd Trimester

I've made it into the 2nd Trimester. Just 6 more months to go! Nothing much to report on. Had another Doctors appointment today just for a monthly checkup. Heard the heartbeat again! =) We're getting very anxious and are dying to know if it's a boy or girl!! I'm calling to make that appointment tomorrow so I'll at least have a date to look forward to!

Belly is really growing now. Up 12 pounds. eek!

Baby S is really a Baby!!

So Friday we went for our NT Scan which was basically just another Ultrasound. We were very excited to see Baby S. The last ultrasound was at 6 weeks and the baby looked like a chicken nugget according to Don. Well this time was a big change! I was 13 weeks 3 days for this appointment. This time Baby S looked like a baby!! It was crazy to see such a change. Baby was jumping around in there as if it were a moon bounce! Looked like fun actually! lol I think we're in trouble. We must have a stubborn one in there. I had read that most NT Scans only take 20 minutes or so & well we were in there for about an hour and a half! The tech needed the baby to turn to get a specific picture for the scan & it was just not happening. I had to get up and walk around the building a few times, drink apple juice, get on all fours & cough, and finally just spin around on the table in both directions. This baby did not want to turn around!! The tech did finally get what she needed otherwise we would have had to go in again which Don was excited about! lol He was soo amazed looking at the screen! It was really cute. I had also read that it was possible we might get a hint from the tech as to the sex of Baby S. But our Tech said it would be unprofessional of her to tell us so early. So no clues yet! Although Don swears he sees a boy part in these pics...
